Educational History:

I attended Oologah High School and gratuated in 1996. I then attended classes at NSU Broken Arrow, RSU and took above hours at Cameron University.

Degrees and Certifications:

I have an associates degree in liberal arts, a bachelors in science and a minor in history. I am certified in early childhood, elementary education, psychology/sociology, social studies, severe/profound special education and mild/moderate disabilites.

Professional Development:

I have attended numerous workshops about sensory issues, autism, behavioral issues and how to implement a postive classroom environment. I have also attended workshops about Great Expectations, which I emplement in my classroom on a daily basis.

Professional Experience

Current Position:

I began working for Claremore Public School in 1997 as a paraprofessional for a special ed preschool class and never left! I was a paraprofessional for 10 years and I have been teaching for the past 7 years. I currently teach pre-k and absoultely love it!

Family Information

I have been with my husband Josh for the past 16 years and we have been married for 11 years. We have one wonderful daughter, Ava, that attends second grade at Catalayah. We have two dogs, Buckley (bassett hound) and Beatrix (an Augie). We also have two cats, Ella and Brobee and one fish named Peanut Butter and Jelly.

Personal Information 

I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, taking road trips, and watching OU football! Boomer! Sooner! Fall is my favorite season, however December is my favorite month. December is when my daughter was born and Christmas is a wonderful time of year!!
